Hanging on the wall in the work-out room of the gym I attend, is a poster with the words “Feel The Power” and underneath are small pictures of football helmets of each NFL team. Of course, I see the significance of that poster, however, there are many different ways to interpret that statement. In reference to my own personal journey those words mean far more than just strength or muscle building.
Getting healthy and fit has many benefits other than the obvious ones that I had never before considered.
I have found that it’s always a good thing to keep a sense of humor in everything I set out to do. This is particularly true if its something that is repetitious and difficult like working out in a gym. The weather is a little cool but should warm up a little on Saturday for Metamora’s annual Strawberry Daze. G.I. and I have been watching our diets but plan to indulge in “the works” tomorrow.
