Welcome to the Metamora Inn! To ensure a pleasant experience here at the Inn, please familiarize yourself with our Inn policies.

Booking

  • Each reservation must be guaranteed with a credit or debit card regardless of how final payment will be made. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Please, no personal checks.
  • Reservations made on The Metamora Inn website will be charged at time of reservation.
  • Metamora gift certificates are sometimes made available. Should you want to use a gift certificate, we will need to have the certificate number at the time of booking.
  • In the event of a whole house rental, we ask that payment arrangements be made 30 days in advance.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the unique nature of bed and breakfast accommodations, we have established a firm cancellation policy, with any exceptions being at the discretion of the innkeeper.

  • Please notify the Metamora Inn within ten days of the first day of your reservation should you need to cancel. Those who cancel inside the ten day window will be billed for their original reservation.
  • No-shows will also be charged for the amount of their original reservation.
  • If a whole house rental reservation has been made, please notify the innkeeper 30 days or more before the first day of the reservation. Whole house renters are responsible for the full amount of their reservation regardless of whether they successfully fill all four rooms.

Special rates for whole house rentals or other special events may be arranged directly with the innkeeper.

Check In/Check Out

  • Check in is between 3:00 and 7:00 pm. Later check ins may be available, but should be arranged in advance with the innkeeper.
  • Check out is 11:00 am.

Please be advised that early check in/late check out are rare due to our small staff and stringent cleanliness policies.

Guest Conduct

  • The innkeeper reserves the right to refuse service to anyone if necessary.
  • The Metamora Inn is not responsible for guest accidents or injury, or the loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.
  • Wear and tear on the Inn is inevitable. However, the Metamora Inn reserves the right to determine if guest activity constitutes property damage. Any damages, stolen items, or broken items during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest who reserved the room. In order to minimize any need for additional charges, please report all spills and/or damages to the Innkeeper promptly.
  • Please observe Inn quiet hours of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
  • Please note that any registered guests are welcome to congregate on the porch or in the breakfast area. However, should you wish to meet with friends who are not registered guests on inn property, approval of the innkeeper must be sought in advance.

Alcoholic Beverages

  • The Inn does not hold a license to sell alcoholic beverages; however, guests may bring their own and may drink their beverages on the property. For the safety and comfort of all our guests, please drink responsibly.

Tobacco Use & Candle Burning

  • For the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow tobacco use in any of our guest rooms including smoking, vaping, or chewing. If you choose to disregard this policy, you will incur a minimum $200 cleaning fee in order to return the room to a non-tobacco status.
  • You may smoke or vape on the deck only. Please dispose of any used tobacco and vaping products in appropriate designated containers.
  • No incense/candle burning in any of our guest rooms
  • The use of fireworks is strictly prohibited indoors or outdoors on the property.

Children and Pets at the Inn

  • The Metamora Inn is regarded as a quiet escape and romantic getaway for most of our guests. However, we are a family-oriented business and welcome well-mannered children of any age. It will be necessary for you to be able to quiet your children at night so that the other guests can rest.
  • We regret that we are not able to accommodate guest pets.
