You will feel like you are sleeping in a garden of beautiful flowers when you choose the Sonshine Room.

Located in the back of the inn with immediate access to the back porch and the Breakfast Room, this room has become a favorite of the ladies. This very girly room is decorated in the popular, classic vintage style. Its 1930′s iron beds remind me of my childhood and gives a very “step back in time” feeling. It’s clean and tidy appearance seems to echo, “Welcome home” Often when time permits, I go to the Sonshine Room for private time and relaxing. The room is furnished with white wicker furniture with ample seating. The comforters have the look of quilts that grandma made by hand. The word “Sonshine” is deliberately misspelled because the previous owners who created the Metamora Inn, Ray and Pat Gulley, are ministers. Ray told me that God’s Son is first in their life and the Sonshine Room was the first room they opened for rent so they chose the name Sonshine. I kept the name in their honor.

The Sonshine Room has two double beds and will sleep up to four. The price is $89 with $10 extra for each added person.

I highly recommend staying at the Metamora Inn. We went for our 25th anniversary…9 years ago….and have been back at least 20 times since!!!
